helldivers

Shamelessly copied from Super Earth tank designs, the Automaton Tank is clearly inferior in such a multitude of aspects that it would be impractical to list them here. Variants: Heavy Cannon, Quad HMG.

Annihilator Tank - A large, heavily armored main battle tank. It uses a powerful anti-armor laser cannon as its main gun, capable of vaporizing just about anything in its path with a direct hit. For close defense against infantry, it has two machine guns mounted on the hull and the turret, co-axial with the main gun.

Their fierce armor makes up for their slow movement speed, and they can be recognized by their dark, blue-gray coloring as well as the Automatons Icon Automaton flag on their side.

Shredder Tank - Swaps out the Annihilator's heavy cannon for a quad-barreled machine gun battery, most likely used to shoot down aircraft. However, unlike those found in Anti-Air Emplacements, these guns can be leveled at ground targets, making them very deadly against infantry, thanks to their rapid rate of fire and their turret's fast traverse speed.

It lacks a hull-mounted machine gun, making it entirely reliant of its main gun, which is not as heavily armored as its larger counterpart.

Barrager Tank - A mobile artillery piece that uses a Multiple Launch Rocket System, mounted on a tank chassis. It is designed to bombard enemies from a distance with a rocket barrage that are effective against both infantry and vehicles.

Baragger Tanks are also dangerous at close range as they are able to use their rocket launcher against a Helldiver who strays closer to them, usually dealing lethal damage on direct hit.

Behavior

The Tank is a very powerful Automatons Icon Automaton vehicle derived from Super Earth Icon Super Earth tank designs, albeit inferior in every way. Living up to their name, they are extremely durable, impervious to most firearms except for powerful anti-tank weapons. While sluggish in terms of mobility, a Tank's offense is by all means exceptional; they will fire their main cannon to rip their target to shreds. Their main cannon can rotate in all directions, making them suitable at long range combat. Except for the Barrager Tank, Tanks are typically helpless against a Helldivers Companion Helldiver on close range as their armament are inferior at close quarters combat. Helldivers Companion Helldivers can use this tactic at their advantage and climb over them, making it impossible for a Tank to land a single hit on them.

All Tanks are able to crush an unfortunate Helldiver with their weight by their treads.
