| “ | Super Earth is the blinding beacon that shines the light of democracy through the stars. The sprawling heart that beats in time to mankind's quest of liberation. Here live the wealthy, important and proud. Here live those who have pulled themselves up by their bootstraps and achieved their dreams. Here live the citizens of Super Earth. | „ |
| ~ Official Description |
Super Earth is one of two inhabited planets that are in the Sol System. It is the homeworld of Humanity and the capital planet of the
Federation of Super Earth.
On May 13th, 2185, the
Illuminate Great Host emerged from the
Meridian Black Hole and headed towards Super Earth, invading the planet's Mega Cities mere days later. The planet was successfully defended by the
Super Earth Armed Forces and the battle was won by May 30th, forcing the Illuminate fleet to retreat.
The 10-day Battle for Super Earth claimed the lives of 120,452,853
Helldivers, alongside many other millions of
S.E.A.F. personnel, all in service of defending the heart of Democracy itself. Up until September 2185, it was the single highest death toll of any battle in the war, until the Battle of Oshaune surpassed it with an estimated 150,000,000 Helldivers dead.

Federation's founding.[1]
Official map of Super Earth in 2185, after the
Illuminate invasion of Super Earth.[2]
Super Earth, being the shining bastion of Prosperity, Liberty and Managed Democracy that it has always been, features many biomes. However, due to the Last Great War in the late 20th or early 21st century, which ultimately resulted in the
Federation's proclamation, the planet's northern hemisphere remains partially uninhabitable. Nevertheless, Super Earth managed to optimize itself into seven separate Sectors.
Sector 1
Sector 1 and Mega City 1
Formerly known as "Oceania", Sector 1 is mostly comprised of an arid desert continent formally known as "Australia", along with several tropical islands, archipelagos, and peninsulas that once formed part of a continent called "Asia". Off the coast of "Australia" is the famed Minor Barrier Reef, once known as the "Great Barrier Reef" prior to the Last Great War. Sector 1 is also the home of Port Mercy (Mega City 1).
During the Last Great War, Port Mercy sheltered millions of loyal refugees and has been a safe haven for any Class-A citizen in need ever since. Port Mercy would serve much the same purpose around 200 years later during the
Illuminate invasion of Super Earth in 2185, as the Mega City was ignored for much of the invasion. Unfortunately, this state of affairs did not last forever, as the longtime refuge of so many Class-A citizens would fall to the Illuminate on the 28th of May, becoming a stronghold of the Squ'ith for the remainder of their invasion.
Sector 2
Sector 2 and Mega City 2
The Great Wall of Democracy in Sector 2
Much of Sector 2 consists of lands formerly known as "China" and "Asia", with territory stretching north into the area once known as "Mongolia" and "Siberia". The eastern and central parts of this Sector are mostly comprised of ancient mountains and forests. Deserts and parts of an arid steppe are found to the north and west. This Sector is home to the Great Wall of Democracy, as well as Equality-on-Sea (Mega City 2).
Once known as "Shanghai" meaning "On-the-Sea", the Mega City that rose in its place was named in honor of the historic conference where Humanity was found to be the most Equal species in the Galaxy. During the invasion of Super Earth by the
Illuminate, it would become the 2nd Mega City attacked by the Illuminate, who would dedicate a vast amount of the Great Host to tearing it down. However, a stubborn defense by the
Helldivers and
S.E.A.F. Army of Sector 2 would see the city hold fast throughout the entire siege of Super Earth, outlasting all other Mega Cities save for Prosperity City.
Sector 3
Sector 3 and Prosperity City
Formerly known as "Russia" by some, and "Scandinavia" by others, Sector 3 is mostly comprised of cold mountains, tundra's, fjords and ice fields that will freeze the enemies of freedom. To its north and south lie wasteland zones that cannot be inhabited, being products of the Last Great War. This Sector also includes the two islands formerly known as "Greenland" and "Iceland", as well as being home to the Emergency Seed Vault on an island formerly known as "Svalbard."
This Sector is home to Prosperity City, the illustrious capital of the
Federation of Super Earth, home to both the President of Super Earth and the Democratic Council. As the Federation's proud Capital, it is a beacon of Progress, Productivity, and Patriotism for all of Humanity. Should it ever fall, then so too shall the light of Managed Democracy be forever extinguished.
Sector 4
Sector 4 and Mega City 4
Formerly known as "Europe", Sector 4 is one of the most urbanized in Super Earth, having seen the lion's share of Super Earth's foundational history. To its north lies a now-uninhabitable set of islands formerly known as the "United Kingdom" and "Ireland". One of the notable landmarks of Sector 4 is the Leaning Tower of Peace, originally built by one of the four great maritime democracies that once inhabited the peninsula formerly known as "Italy".
Sector 4 is the home of Administrative Center O2 (Mega City 4), aka AdminCen. As the name implies, the AdminCen Mega City is an important administrative center, with each form and application that passes through its hallowed halls being emblazoned with the Stamp of Ages.
The landscape of Sector 4 consists of plains, mountains, and forests. Its southern portion shares the ancient continent of "Africa" with Sector 5, covering much of the western Sahara Desert and the Atlas Mountains. In 2185, Sector 4 was the third Sector attacked by the
Illuminate invaders and the third to fall after Sector 6, with AdminCen - the hallowed center of Federal Bureaucracy - burning to the ground.
Sector 5
Sector 5 and Mega City 5
The Pyramids of Super Earth in Sector 5
A postcard from Eagleopolis
Formerly known by the names of "India" and "Arabia", Sector 5 consists of many different lands. It encapsulates areas formerly known as the "Arabian Peninsula", "India", the southern portion of the ancient continent of "Asia", and the easternmost portion of the ancient continent of "Africa" in which it is rumored that the first humans were born.
Much of the Sector is dry and hot, with over half of the Sector consisting of scorching deserts. It possesses two of the last three remaining rainforests and is home to the Pyramids of Super Earth and Eagleopolis (Mega City 5). This Mega City is known as the Great Heart of Commerce, renowned galaxy-wide for its grand shopping malls and splendorous entertainment centers.
Eagleopolis is also home to the Great Mall of Super Earth and the Congressional Rapids Family Fun Zone, both of which were destroyed along with most of the Mega City during the
Illuminate invasion in May of 2185.
Sector 6
Sector 6 and Mega City 6
Formerly known as "Latin America", Sector 6 consists of the Central and Southern portions of the ancient continent of "America". It also manages the southern portions of the land formerly known as "the United States of America". This Sector houses one of the last three remaining rain-forests and is home to Remembrance (Mega City 6): rising from the ashes of an ancient city, Remembrance is a monument to the perseverance of Humankind.
During the
Illuminate invasion in 2185, Remembrance was the second city to be attacked and third occupied by the invaders. The fall of what used to be Super Earth's "monument to perseverance" activated the first of several costly global defense protocols to be used only when Democracy needs them most: Super Defense Protocol Sapphire, which converted the remaining rain-forests on the planet into massive tactical airstrips. After the battle, Remembrance was rebuilt and a new name was selected for the Mega City through a Democratically Managed voting process: Gun.
Sector 7
Sector 7 and Mega City 7
Superstone National Park in Sector 7
Formerly known as "the United States of America" and "Canada", Sector 7 consists of the Northern portions of the ancient continent of "North America". This Sector is rumoured to have been the birthplace of Super Earth's core tenets of Freedom and Democracy, with its inhabitants having a reputation of high patriotism and love for their compatriots, values that would later be imprinted into all Super Earth citizens.
Sector 7 is home to Superstone National Park, which was unfortunately razed by the
Illuminate during their invasion in 2185. It is also home to York Supreme (Mega City 7), a city which rose above the rest following the Great York Conundrum, pledging to hold its hand over all other Yorks so that no more blood be spilled between them. York Supreme is home to the Statue of Lady Liberty from pre-Super Earth times, a monument that was also destroyed by the
Illuminate in 2185.
Unfortunately, despite a valiant defense by the
S.E.A.F., York Supreme would fall to the
Illuminate invaders on the 28th of May, 2185, just hours before the arrival of the
Democracy Space Station. Even so, there was no doubt that the city would be rebuilt in time. On November 6th, 2185, the reconstruction of York Supreme would begin. The rapid reconstruction of such a spectacular megalopolis, constructed over the course of centuries, would be an undertaking that demanded massive quantities of construction material. Reserves of limestone, iron ore, and gravel on Andar and Asperoth Prime would be extracted, molded into prefabricated buildings, and shipped to Super Earth. As volunteer demolition teams blow up the last of the rubble, the citizens of Super Earth bid farewell to the last and greatest of the Yorks, and eagerly welcome the birth of a new Mega City in the heart of Managed Democracy.
In November of 2185, following the reconstruction of York Supreme after Operation Bigger Apple, a vote conducted among the
Helldivers Corps would see the reconstructed Mega City be officially renamed to New York Supreme.
Oceans and Poles
About 70% of Super Earth's surface is covered by water, which required the division of its oceanic surface into 3 sections:
Antarctica
- Liberty Ocean (formerly known as the "Pacific Ocean")
- Atlantic Ocean
- Pan-Asian Ocean (formerly known as the "Indian Ocean")
There used to be permafrost ice caps on both the north and south poles of Super Earth known as "Antarctica" and "the Arctic". However, these ice caps were melted away at some point prior to the First Galactic War, as their ice was incapable of sustaining all of mankind's Prosperity. Now there are even some cities around the southern pole, although none are large enough to be considered a Mega City. Following the
Illuminate invasion, Antartica would be officially labelled as a "Sector Under Development".

History
Creation of Earth
Super Earth, or Earth as it was previously known, was formed 4.5 billion years ago. It was a hot, empty planet with extreme temperatures and oceans of lava. Later on, a planet roughly the same size as Mars, named Theia, collided with Earth. The rock and debris from this collision formed a ring around the Earth until it eventually coalesced into the Super Moon.
The planet eventually began to cool, and oceans of liquid water would cover most of its surface. Life would come to thrive on the planet, and some creatures went on to colonize the land, one day evolving into Humans.
Rise of Civilization
The first Human civilization was located in Mesopotamia. Other civilizations arose in Greece, Egypt, Rome, India, China, and Central America. These societies were mostly agricultural, located near rivers and fertile land.
In the 19th century, an Industrial Revolution took over the world with the invention of steam power, allowing for the entire world to be colonized and claimed. Millions found employment, and the economy flourished. One hundred years after the first Industrial Revolution, the first major global conflict began, known as World War One. The war gripped the world for four long years until the Treaty of Versailles ended the war on November 11th, 1918. Twenty-one years of peace came to pass until World War Two, lasting six years and ending with a Japanese surrender on September 2nd, 1945. The post-war world then found itself embroiled in a Cold War between the victors of World War Two: the United States and the Soviet Union.
The Last Great War
The Last Great War was a major conflict that reduced the majority of the Northern Hemisphere into a wasteland. It is unknown when the war occurred, but it was likely sometime during the late 20th or early 21st century; certainly, before 2016.[1] It is believed that the conflict involved nuclear weapons, as Last Great War wasteland zones can be seen on the Super Earth map - implying there was a nuclear exchange during this war. The conflict most likely included the United States, United Kingdom, Russia, and China. Most of Russia's population centres were wiped out along with the entire United Kingdom, as well as Ireland, some parts of Canada, Alaska, Greenland, and Siberia, all of which remain wasteland zones 200 years later, as seen on a 2184 map. Although they were possibly affected as well, the rest of the former United States and China contain no wasteland zones as of 2184.

Out of the dust of the Last Great War, one government stood tall. They created a new way of government, Managed Democracy, and achieved total unification of the planet to a previously unseen extent. They ventured far out into space, proclaiming themselves as the
Federation of Super Earth, thus creating a utopia of Freedom and Prosperity.
No enemy of the Federation had ever even come close to contesting with Super Earth; not even a three front war against Humanity could threaten it. However, recent events have been painting a worrying picture. The Gloom creeps across the Galaxy with no sign of stopping, the
Automatons have encroached on Federation space to get as close as one sector away from the home of Managed Democracy, and the
Illuminate have returned after a hundred-year exile, abducting Super Earth citizens for vile purposes. And even after a second defeat, they refused to fall without anything more than total extinction.
Second Galactic War
Invasion of Super Earth
| “ | The Illuminate long ago anointed themselves galactic shepherds. In their twisted minds, Super Earth is an existential threat that must be destroyed. Abject insanity... that jeopardizes the entire galaxy. | „ |
| ~ Democracy Officer |
For generations, Super Earth stood unmolested and uncontested as a bastion of peace, hope, Freedom and Justice in the galaxy. But as the Second Galactic War developed, not even the most sacrosanct of places would be left untouched by its nefarious, despicable foes.
The Illuminate Great Host heading towards Super Earth.
On May 13th, 2185, Station 81 would detect Spacetime Fluctuations around the vicinity of the
Meridian Singularity. It was unmistakeable: the
Illuminate, who had been thought eradicated after the activation of the Repulsive Gravity Field Generator, had returned once again, this time with "The Great Host", a massive invasion fleet of Illuminate ships, spotted by the Station 81 satellites shortly before their destruction. The Illuminate that the
Helldivers had been fighting from December to April had only been the vanguard fleet, laying out the groundwork for their invasion of Super Earth.[4]
A State of Extratyrannical Emergency was immediately declared.
Illuminate Victory Parties were quickly converted into Rapid Enlistment Events. The heart of Managed Democracy was believed to be the Great Host's ultimate target, its objective being an invasion of Super Earth itself.
3 planets laid between the Great Host and Super Earth: New Haven, Pilen V and Widow's Harbor. While Cross-Ministry projections predicted that a battle on Super Earth would be inevitable, all military personnel were immediately ordered to these 3 planets, in order to delay the advance of the Great Host and deliver as much damage as possible while Super Earth's Mega Cities bolstered their defenses.
Within hours of the call to arms going out, over 120,000
Helldivers would answer, easily the largest force of Helldivers assembled since the siege of Calypso. Meanwhile, the planetary defenses of Super Earth were being bolstered with the help of volunteer civilians young and old, who refused to abandon the heart of Managed Democracy. Many citizens "carried on" working in the face of invasion, whilst others aided the war effort with home gardens and even dissidents would be drafted to join the fight.
Superstone Park is destroyed by the Illuminate.
Sadly even with Democratic processes at full bore, the inevitable came: all 3 planets fell, Mars was destroyed and for the first time in Super Earth's history, it was invaded. Over the course of several hours, the
Illuminate entered the Sol System, razed Mars to a crisp and touched down in the Mega Cities as well as destroying Superstone Park. It was all too clear now: the Battle of Super Earth and the Battle for Democracy had begun.
Immediately after touching down, the
Illuminate began their invasion: Overships hovered over Mega Cities, Leviathan warships roamed in the air, killing every human in sight, and countless Voteless and Overseers flooded the streets. Stingray jet fighters engaged Eagles, delaying them from assisting forces on the ground. In the chaos, Superstone Park was destroyed.[5]
An Illuminate Overship over a Mega City is targeted by a planetary defense cannon.
All seemed hopeless... until hope finally arrived: soon after the invasion began, a force of over 200,000
Helldivers, pulled from every front and reserve, dropped onto Super Earth, landing in the Mega Cities and immediately engaging the squid-like terrorists while being assisted by
S.E.A.F. Army forces. Through the use of hidden planetary defense cannons, they began to shoot down any Overships in range and, by exploiting weak spots, destroying Leviathans. Soon after, a Major Order was enacted to thin
Illuminate ground forces and disrupt their fleet's cohesion. High Command stated that the battle would last through several Major Orders, and the
Helldivers were ordered to hold the Mega Cities; if the last one were to fall, so would Super Earth. The Divers and
S.E.A.F. Army Troopers held their ground, but the future of Humanity's cradle was uncertain.[6]
Combat on Super Earth

Helldivers were tasked with assisting in the defense of the seven Mega Cities — in collaboration with the
S.E.A.F. Army — and driving off the Great Host. The highly developed cities presented a novel challenge to Helldivers: tight confines against an enemy that thrives on close combat, the civilian populace and their precious votes, and physical obstructions to supporting Eagle fighters and Super Destroyers.
The heavily saturated airspace increased the load time of Eagle strikes, while the imposing skyscrapers forced Super Destroyers to reposition to obtain firing solutions. The
Helldivers' HUD and minimap indicated where their Super Destroyer was located relative to the mission area, along with those of their squadmates. Stratagems also encountered delays in communication, and elastically reposition themselves until a suitable site is selected.
As with Emergency Evacuation missions, civilians were present on the battlefield and had to be protected from harm. While colonists benefitted from attending mandatory evacuation drills, the battleground of Super Earth presented much confusion and wildly-shifting situations to the unprepared citizens. As such, they would be observed running into unseen dangers hiding behind corners, into the path of sentry fire, and scattered among blocs of Voteless threatening to deprive them of limb and life. Carrying armaments such as Orbital 380MM HE Barrages, B-100 Portable Hellbombs, gas and flame weaponry, and MD-6 Anti-Personnel Minefields proved excessively fatal expensive, and were highly discouraged.
An
S.E.A.F. Army soldier in combat in the streets of Super Earth.
Offsetting these limitations in combat efficiency were the
S.E.A.F. Army soldiers, hastily drafted in the weeks leading up to Super Earth's invasion, recalled from distant outposts, or re-enlisting to re-secure their re-liberation. With but a single directive to eliminate the enemies of Super Earth, they were more than happy to assist the
Helldivers, and would abide by commands to follow them into danger, or to hold defense of important positions.
S.E.A.F. soldiers were typically equipped with AR-23 Liberators, frag grenades, and the occasional EAT-17 Expendable Anti-Tank.
Although trained in standard battle tactics, the
S.E.A.F. troopers were prone to occasional mistakes resulting in friendly fire. They were also generally unfamiliar with Stratagems, and often wandered into cluster munitions or corrosive gas if not warned. Their eventual deaths were to be memorialized, and as such were billed accordingly when caused by
Helldiver weaponry. But when led by capable Helldivers, they could capably take on the many threats to Managed Democracy and its beloved citizenry.
Operation Defenders of Our Freedom

| ~ Ship Master |
High Command issued a simple target: 2.5 Billion
Illuminate, be it Voteless or Squ'ith, must be eliminated. And so, the
Helldivers rushed into action when the Illuminate first descended on Eagleopolis - the capital of Sector 5, as well as home to Super Earth's greatest entertainment and commerce center.
Both the
S.E.A.F. Army and the
Helldivers met the enemy head on, fighting for every hexagon of the concrete jungle which are the Mega Cities. Together with their standard line-up, the
Illuminate have deployed previously unseen flying monstrosities - quickly nicknamed "Leviathans" by High Command. The rest of the first day was spent in desperate fighting against overwhelming enemy forces.
Eagleopolis is destroyed during the battle.
In the early hours of Day 2 of the Invasion (May 21st, 2185), an
Illuminate invasion fleet appeared above the capital of Sector 6 - Remembrance, forcing the
Helldivers to split their attention. In that time, Illuminate control of Eagleopolis drastically advanced. A couple hours later, another force appeared above Equality-on-Sea, splitting the forces even more.
Around noon, a brave counterattack was performed throughout the streets of Eagleopolis, but the Squ'ith quickly shut it down, leading to them forcing out the
S.E.A.F. from the city in the early hours of May 22nd. On the morning of May 23rd, despite the grim loss, the objective for the Major Order was completed, ending the initial phase of the Siege.
Operation Rampart

The second Major Order was forwarded to all
Helldivers immediately. High Command decided that the objectives of missions must be executed by all costs, and the heroic Helldiver team extracted; therefore, 20 million successful missions were ordered, to sustain the operation's impact. An hour later, the
Illuminate attacked Administrative Center 02 - capital of Sector 4. With once again 3 attacks at once, loss of ground was constant.
With the
Illuminate focusing their offensive on AdminCen, its defense rapidly crumbled. Eventually, by late afternoon of May 24th, both it and city of Remembrance were deemed lost. This in turn caused massive shortages of Pelican pilots and orbital ordnance. In an act of desperation, High Command issued Defense Protocol Sapphire: the remaining rainforests have been ordered to be turned into Airstrips, decreasing the re-arming period of Eagle fighters by 45 seconds globally. With this, a massive counter-offensive began in Equality-on-Sea through the rest of the day and early morning of May 25th. It was also on the morning when Illuminate forces appeared above the skies of York Supreme, capital of Sector 7. Despite the valiant efforts of the
Helldivers and
S.E.A.F. York Supreme fell around 15:00 SEST on May 28th, 2185.
On the morning of May 26th, the Squ'ith attacked the penultimate city - Port Mercy, spreading, while the size of their force was calculated to be below 30%. Later that day, High Command confirmed that repairs on the
Democracy Space Station were almost done - but due to missing material, some
Helldivers would have to redeploy to
Automaton worlds to liberate it from their bodies. This Sub Operation was nicknamed Operation Reforged Station.
Unfortunately, the requirement amount of missions for the Major Order was not reached, with only 2.5% deficit, thus an opportunity to further punish the
Illuminate was lost. With the departure of a fraction of
Helldivers to the
Automaton frontline, the defense of the Mega Cities began to slowly crumble through the rest of May 26th.
Operation Do or Die
| “ | The Illuminate would twist Super Earth from a beacon of Freedom to a cradle of subjugation. We must annihilate them completely before they have a chance. | „ |
| ~ Democracy Officer |
An emergency broadcast detailing the state of Super Earth's Mega Cities on May 28th, 2185.
On the noon of May 27th, High Command declared the final Major Order for the Defense of Super Earth. Nicknamed Do or Die in a Democratic vote, a single order was issued: Hold Super Earth
The rest of the day was spent on a heroic holdout in York Supreme, Equality-on-Sea and Port Mercy, while the
Illuminate fleet was estimated to fall below 20% of its strength. Super Earth was awaiting the return of the
Democracy Space Station, and with it, a hopeful turn-around in the desperate defense.
Defenses continued well through May 28th, with High Command declaring retreat from Port Mercy on 12:30 of CEST. With its fall, the
Illuminate moved the bulk of their forces towards Equality-on-Sea - the longest-holding city.
With fall of Port Mercy, the logistical network became severely strained, forcing the
Helldivers to deploy with less supplies. The fall of this Mega City also forced the High Command to enact Defense Protocol Diamond: infrastructure preservation was deemed unimportant, and for the rest of the Super Earth defense, Orbital Napalm Barrage was given for free use.
Shortly after, around 15:00 SEST, York Supreme was declared lost, and
S.E.A.F. forces fully withdrew from the city. This newly freed up enemy force then redeployed to Equality-on-Sea where, despite the pressure, the
S.E.A.F. is making successful albeit slow advancements.
With the loss of York Supreme, a permanent reduction to reinforcements by 2 was issued, cutting those from 20 per mission to a measly 10 for a squad of
Helldivers. As direct response to this loss, High Command issued Defense Protocol Ruby: the deployment of all
Helldiver High-Cost equipment; in this case, the deployment of FRVs for faster mission turnover.
A Pelican aircraft extracts a squad of Helldivers after their successful mission at Equality-on-Sea. In the background, an ongoing DSS Eagle Strike sweeps the streets for remaining Illuminate hostiles. Picture taken on May 28th, 2185.
In the early evening of May 28th, a major breakthrough occurred: the
Democracy Space Station was successfully repaired with materials gathered by
Helldivers on the
Automaton Front. The
DSS returned, with protocols protecting it from the
Illuminate and a new temporary ability: the Eagle Blockade, allowing for both Eagle storms as well as Hellpod Optimization Booster to be active. At the same time, High Command announced that both the supply logistics and Pelican pilot shortages were mitigated and returned to normal. A massive counterattack was thus launched in Equality-on-Sea, forcing away the Illuminate and reducing the invaders to more manageable levels.
With projections that it would take 4 days to fully destroy the Great Host, the Siege of Super Earth entered its final phase. No longer were the
Helldivers on the defensive; the time had come to press the attack. As the hours passed, the
Illuminate advance would soon begin to come undone. Illuminate forces would be forced to withdraw to the outskirts of Equality-on-Sea as they began to launch their ditched final assault on Prosperity City. In the final hours of the battle, the Helldivers would have to temporarily deviate a section of the force towards Fort Union in order to secure highly critical malware that would go on to deal devastating damage to the Illuminate Fleet. The technician responsible for the creation of this piece of malware would be field promoted to Commander of the 405th Cyberwarfare Detachment once the transmission of it onto the Illuminate Fleet was confirmed to have dealt crucial damage.
Official announcement from the
Ministry of Truth about the death of the President and a new Managed Election.
Sadly, a great loss would take place during the final stretch of the battle. On May 29th, 2185, at 23:26 SEST, the
Ministry of Truth confirmed the death of the President of Super Earth. Reportedly, the President was killed in the valorous defense of the Presidential Security Bunker in Prosperity City, as they held back waves of
Illuminate foes with nothing but a pistol.
Presidential authority would be temporarily placed in the hands of the Minister of Defense until the invasion was over and a secure and Managed Election could be held. Fortunately, the President's sacrifice would not be in vain, as it bolstered the troops to fight their hardest in this final stretch against the alien invaders.
Victory

The Illuminate Great Host retreats from Super Earth.
After ten days of vicious fighting and with all Mega Cities except for Equality-on-Sea and Prosperity City having fallen, the Battle for Super Earth was won by the
Federation thanks to the efforts of the
Helldivers and the
S.E.A.F. Army. The
Illuminate Great Host, once massive and intimidating, had been reduced to a fraction of its strength, warping away to parts unknown. Over 120 million Helldivers gave their lives in the planet's defense, killing over 7.9 billion Illuminate (the bulk of whom were likely Voteless).
The Federation celebrates the successful defense of Super Earth against the Illuminate. - May 30th, 2185
After the
Illuminate retreat, celebrations erupted all across the
Federation of Super Earth and a new President was sworn in following a landslide victory in a Managed Election.
Though the shadow of Tyranny was lifted from Liberty's great capital, multiple Mega Cities and the planets Mars, Pilen V, Widow's Harbor, and New Haven were now in ruins, alongside Superstone Park, with tens of billions of citizens having died.
Operations Debt Collector and Ashes of Remembrance
Super Earth under reconstruction after the Illuminate invasion, with the city of Remembrance being rebuilt into Gun.
After the Invasion of Super Earth, and after the
Illuminate Forces were discovered in the Galactic South,
Super Earth High Command announced that a retaliatory strike would be launched at both the
Illuminate and the
Terminids to pay for their crimes against Managed Democracy, in what was called Operation Debt Collector. The Operation was a complete success, bringing both alien factions to justice thanks to the efforts of the
Helldivers.
The
Federation of Super Earth decided that the planet's fallen Mega Cities would begin to be reconstructed while the
Helldivers were ordered to hold Erata Prime, Veld, Slif, Valmox and New Stockholm and complete a MEDIUM or higher Operation 5,000,000 times. In the middle of this order, a
Terminid attack was detected on Achernar Secundus and succesfully repelled, reducing the needed number of Operations by 50%. Once the Major Order was complete, the former city of Remembrance in Sector 6 had been reconstructed, under the new patrioctic name of Gun.

- June 13th, 2184: FTL lines to Darrowsport, Fort Justice, Klen Dahth II and Martyr's Bay are destroyed.
Trivia
- Before Heart of Democracy, Super Earth had 3 moons; this was a bug and was fixed to now have only 1 moon.[7]
- The Great Barrier Reef being renamed the Minor Barrier Reef could indicate that ecological efforts to preserve the reef have failed by 2184, reducing what was once one of the largest coral reefs in the world to a shell of its former self.
- The name of the "Leaning Tower of Peace" is likely meant to be a play on the landmark's real name of Leaning Tower of Pisa (similar to Equality-on-Sea being Shanghai). Somewhat ironically, however, is that work on the tower was slowed and sometimes abandoned for decades due to the Republic of Pisa often being at war with Florence, Genoa and other city states.
- Eagleopolis being the first city attacked in the invasion is likely a reference to Halo 2, where the first invasion of the alien Covenant (whom the Illuminate take inspiration from) begins from an orbital station above Cairo, where Eagleopolis is roughly located.
