Ministries are executive governmental departments of Super Earth that are tasked with specific duties. Each Ministry is headed by a Minister and has at least one mega-corporation that officially works closely with it.

Ministry of Truth

The Ministry of Truth is the propaganda bureau of the Federation. It distributes information based on government-approved facts and Democratic values to the public. Strohmann Media is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

The Democracy Officers are the propaganda spokesmen of the Ministry of Truth.

Ministry of Defense

The Ministry of Defense is the warfighting Ministry of the Federation. It is responsible for matters of defense and military forces, protecting Super Earth's citizens against external and other serious threats. Morgunson Defense is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

The Super Earth Armed Forces and their Helldivers belong to the Ministry of Defense. The MoD also designs and deploys the Warbonds for the Helldivers.^[1]

Ministry of Unity

The Ministry of Unity is the law enforcement Ministry of Super Earth. It maintains the internal safety of the Federation, enforcing loyalty through policing and ensuring that all citizens are protected from dissident ideas and behavior. PermaCura is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

The Loyalty Officers are the police force of the Ministry of Unity.^[2]

Ministry of Science

The Ministry of Science is the scientific research Ministry of the Federation. It conducts research and development of new technologies to gain the upper hand in the Galactic War and further the Federation's society. Ampudyne is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

The Science Officers are the field advisors of the Ministry of Science.^[3]

Ministry of Expansion

The Ministry of Humanity is the human resource management agency of the Federation. It handles the workforce's access to education and healthcare and performs social grading and gene management. C.O.B Genetics is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

Ministry of Prosperity

The Ministry of Prosperity is the economics and commerce Ministry of the Federation. It is in charge of the Super Earth's economic planning and manages the distribution of resources to everyone, especially the most deserving. Trustor Bank is a mega-corporation that works closely with this Ministry.

Ministry of Intelligence

The Ministry of Intelligence is the intelligence bureau of the Federation. It gathers and analyzes intel and data to support Super Earth's decision-making and give it the upper hand over all of its enemies.

The Intelligence Officers are the covert operatives of the Ministry of Intelligence.^[4]

Trivia

The Ministries of Super Earth, like many other aspects of the games such as Helldivers 1 being set in 2084 and Helldivers 2 being set in 2184, appear to be explicit homages to the Ministries of Oceania in George Orwell's dystopian novel 1984.
- The Ministry of Truth is a direct reference to 1984's Ministry of Truth, both being the ministry of information and propaganda that twists the facts for the regime, while the Ministry of Unity and its Loyalty Officers are a reference to the antagonistic Ministry of Love and its Thought Police from the novel, which enforce the regime's orders.
The Ministry of Truth is referred to as the "Ministry of Information" in the pre-rendered intro cinematic of Helldivers 2; this was the early development name for the MoT as confirmed in concept art.
The Ministry of Humanity is referred to as the "Ministry of Employment" in the Social Grading paragraph of the Helldiver Contract of Employment. Social grading is explicitly stated to be a function of the Ministry of Humanity (along with employment, as seen when it employed the DSS workers), meaning the "Ministry of Employment" was likely the early development name for the MoH.
