The Orion Sector is a sector found on the Eastern Front in Helldivers 2. It contains 8 habitable planets and 1 dead planet. Due to it's location on the Galactic Map, it was favorable for 
Terminid attacks.
2184 Terminid Outbreak
In the prelude to the start of Second Galactic War, Orion Sector numerously came under Terminid attack from then infested Umlaut Sector. The outbreaks were halted with the creation of TCS Network in Umlaut Sector, which held Terminids at bay until May 30th, when the TCS network failed and 
Helldivers raced against time to shut it down.
After Meridia became a Singularity, Terminids have begun spreading to north and south of their space, with minimal outbreaks on Veld or Terrek.
Meridian Crisis
With 
Meridian Black Hole advancing through the sector on early spring of 2185, it was thrown into turmoil as the freshly mutated 
Predator Strain followed in wake, using the small resistance to their advantage, as Helldivers were scrambling to stop Meridia.
Eventually, after The Siege of Super Earth both Orion Sector and neighboring Celeste would be purge of Terminid presence.
Gloom Expeditions
Orion Sector remains a target for Terminid Outbreaks as direct response to Helldivers marching into The Gloom on multiple occasions.
