Second Galactic War
Return of the Illuminate
Ilduna Prime was, ever since its colonization during the Great Democratization, a peaceful colony far off in the Southern Galactic fringe, without many events in its history being worthy of any mention.
At some point, Ilduna accumulated enough wealth at some point to build more urbanized settlements, with a grid of paved roads, pipes to carry drinking water, waste management services, an electrical power supply and most importantly, green grass lawns on which the citizens of Ilduna could proudly pitch their Super Earth Flags on for Liberty Day.
However, an ancient enemy stared at this humble community from the darkness of space. The 
Illuminate, envious of such calmness, would make a return after their banishing from the Milky Way at the end of the prior century. On January 10th, 2185, Ilduna and Elysian Meadows would both be attacked simultaneously, as the Illuminate had been conducting a series of raids across the southern sectors of the galaxy for the past month.
Split between the Terminid assaults at Terrek and the Automaton advances on Matar Bay, only a small contingent of Helldivers would be able to assist in defending Ilduna, which ultimately ended in the Illuminate pillaging whatever they could before escaping onto Irulta.
Operation Democracy Delivered
Ilduna Prime's colonists would not have to wait too long for retribution, however. Shortly after their first invasion, the Helldivers would find themselves not just available but also with orders to repel as many Illuminate attacks as possible and, best of all, with the Democracy Space Station back on their side. And Ilduna's chance for payback soon came as, on January 18th, the Illuminate made the grave mistake of attempting a second invasion.
Much like at Rasp and Emorath before, the Helldivers made an optimal display of their martial prowess and completely destroyed the Illuminate invasion fleet after 10 hours of fighting, dealing heavy losses to the Illuminate and avenging the first loss at Ilduna Prime.
