Emorath is one of the four planets that reside within the Meridian Sector. On January 16th, 2185, the Helldivers set the record for the fastest defensive victory in the war at 4 hours and 52 minutes.

History
Second Galactic War
Return of the Illuminate
Emorath was a peaceful planet colony of Super Earth, right past the southwestern edge of the Galactic Mid Rim. Following its discovery after the First Galactic War ended, Emorath would be settled at some point during the Great Democratization. Past that point, it would mostly follow the same historical trends of its neighboring planet colonies, as its population grew and its economy boomed until its inhabitants were able to finance the construction of urbanized colonies in order to sustain their growing numbers.
However, during all this time, an old enemy of Democracy had been staring from within the depths of the abyss, and on December 2184, it would make its return. The nefarious 
Illuminate, an ancient alien race that had once defied Humanity during the First Galactic War, resurfaced on the planet Calypso and soon began to wage war against Freedom once more.
On January 16th, 2185, the Illuminate would sent an invasion fleet onto Emorath, seeking to plunder resources in order to redress their losses after they were defeated not only at their initial failed invasion at Calypso, but also at Stout the day prior. The Helldivers, seeking to continue inflicting defeats onto the odious invader and with bleeding hearts aching to protect their fellow citizens, immediately gave chase and deployed en masse onto Emorath in order to aid the planet's defense and, ideally, stop the invading forces before too much damage could be done.
Apparently, the Squ'ith came completely unprepared to face down the might of the Helldivers as, in just 4 hours and 52 minutes, their invasion fleet had been completely decimated not just by the main fleet of the Helldivers, but also with aid of the freshly repaired and upgraded Democracy Space Station.

- October 27th, 2185: FTL line to Ilduna Prime is re-established, plus the creation of new FTL lines to East Iridium Trading Bay and Liberty Ridge.
