Spread Democracy is a Mission in Helldivers 2. In this mission, Helldivers are tasked with raising the Flag of Super Earth. The mission used to be on Trivial - Easy but now can be found on all difficulties.

	~ Mission Briefing Description

Raise Flag of Super Earth is a Primary Objective of the Spread Democracy Mission. Once within range of the objective, the Super Earth Flag can be requested from the Super Destroyer. Its pod will be deployed at a location in the middle of the objective. A rover will begin to fly around a pole that will rise from the pod and lift upwards while playing the Super Earth National Anthem.

During this at least one Helldiver is required be by that objective for it to raise. You will have to fend of multiple enemy attacks and make sure that every enemy is killed so that objective can continue. After 1 minute and 40 seconds the flag will be successfully raised and the objective will be complete.

The Raise Flag of Super Earth can also be found in the Free Colony mission against the Illuminate.

Trivia

• If Helldivers leave the objective area, the pod will retract the flag and Helldivers will need to re-enter the objective area for it to continue raising.
• As mentioned in the tutorial, you can salute the flag. Each Helldiver demonstrating the proper etiquette will speed up the flagpole by 7.5%, with an additional bonus to 15% for the first patriot.
• In versions previous to Patch 01.000.300 on the 29th of April 2024, Spread Democracy was originally a low-tier mission available only to Trivial and Easy Difficulties.
• Previous patches made adjustments to the objective, such as requiring all enemies be cleared from the site.
