Illuminate tyranny.
Gameplay
Raise Flag of Super Earth
| “ | Raising the symbol of Managed Democracy will send an undeniable message that Freedom reigns in this colony once more. | „ |
| ~ Mission briefing |
As with the Spread Democracy missions, Helldivers are to fly the colors of Super Earth at pre-determined locations to re-assert Managed Democracy over threatened colonies.
One layout consists of a small plaza surrounded by large structures. This prevents vehicles and massive enemies from interfering with the ceremony, allowing defenders to focus on the Voteless undoubtedly attempting to remind themselves of Liberty's love.
There does not appear to be a requirement to clear enemies from the radius of the flag, only for Helldivers to stand true.
On higher difficulties, it may be necessary to raise more than one flag.
Destroy Monolith
| “ | Strange Illuminate monoliths seem to be creating fields of negative energy. We do not understand their purpose or their true nature. That is why they must be destroyed. | „ |
| ~ Mission briefing |
The Illuminate have somehow constructed bizarre Monoliths in certain cities. Before we can learn their secrets, the Monoliths must be brought down.
The monoliths have attracted the Voteless in such numbers that they form piles at their base. Such unsanitary conditions cannot be tolerated. Lightning Spires are often placed around monoliths, perhaps to rid themselves of nuisance Voteless, or perhaps to subdue them for some future calling.
Until the Ministry of Truth can ascertain their purpose, Helldivers are advised not to touch the Monolith. Conventional weapons do not appear to have any lasting effect on a Monolith, and so require a NUX-223 Hellbomb to clear.
