Return of the Illuminate
Eukoria was a peaceful colony of Super Earth settled during the Great Democratization following the end of the First Galactic War. Not many events would be remarkable in its history since, with its economy booming thanks to its beneficial location in the galactic map allowing it to finance the construction of urbanized colonies throughout its surface.
However, a jealous enemy of Super Earth would stare from the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike and take all of that successful wealth for itself. The 
Illuminate, having resurged after a century of presumed extinction, launched an attack on Eukoria on January 3rd. The Helldivers, being occupied with operations against the 
Automatons, would only be able to dispatch a contingent to fight against the invading aliens.
Operation Void Attack
In Mid April of 2186, the Illuminate launched a series of unprovoked, cowardly raids against several of the federation's pristine and highly-valued territories. However, what separated this new wave of attacks from previously unprovoked raids, was that the 
Appropriators were conducting mass abductions of hardworking voters—something not seen since the initial hit-and-run Illuminate raids from December 2184 to May of 2185.
Though the Ministry of Intelligence was yet to determine the exact purpose of these mass abductions, the 
Ministry of Prosperity warned that the sheer volume of stolen citizens presents a critical threat to Federation workforce productivity and regional fiscal stability. As such, the 
Helldivers were deployed to interdict this systematic and unlawful biological requisition, and deny the enemy's harvesting operations before they reach critical mass.
After a long and costly series of battles across multiple planets, the battered and bloodied Appropriators landed on Eukoria on April 19th, only to be greeted by the guns of the 
S.E.A.F. and Helldiver Corps. By April 20th, the planet had been successfully defended, marking the end of the Illuminate schemes... for the time being. Never the less, by denying the enemy the human genetic material they clearly covet, their harvesting initiatives have been stripped of all momentum. Any citizens unaccounted for have had their voting rights suspended until their whereabouts can be verified.
Meanwhile, analysis of salvaged Appropriator hardware revealed that the Illuminate may have been systematically targeting citizens possessing specific physiological traits. The 
Ministry of Humanity is now monitoring the Federal populace for genetic correlations with past abductees — though citizens are reminded that left-handedness remains a non-threatening trait.
