Recover top-secret intel from downed SEAF reconnaissance plane.

A Retrieve Recon Craft Intel mission tasks Helldivers with recovering the sensitive intelligence data from crashed reconnaissance aircraft (that are certainly not spying on our own citizens). It resembles the Retrieve Valuable Data mission, with the main exception of the large crash site that must be explored.

Gameplay

Secure Black Box

The Black Box—a hardened storage device containing an aircraft's self-reported and collected data—from the recon craft can be found somewhere in the vicinity of its crash site, spanning several city blocks. To assist location, the black box emits visual and audible beacons until picked up or delivered. Once picked up, the sub-objective is complete. (Note that this differs from Retrieve Valuable Data where the SSSD must be delivered to the receptacle before completion is credited.)

The crash site will typically be occupied by Voteless and their captors. All must be prosecuted for illegal trespassing and loitering near Ministry of Defense assets.

Upload Black Box Data

Once the black box has been secured, it must be transported to this interplanetary uplink site to upload its data to the Ministry of Defense's top-secret network.

At the nearest Local Relay, Helldivers must deliver the Black Box to the receptacle and activate the Terminal. The relay's Satellite Tower must then be raised. With the satellite dish assembled, transmission of the data must be initiated by steering the satellite dish and confirming position at the terminal. At this point, the terminal can be left unattended as it performs handshake protocols with the Super Earth Mainframe and proceeds with upload. The mission is complete when the data upload is finished. (Note again that the Black Box does not need to be securely wiped, unlike other SSSDs.)
