The Hydra Sector is an inhabited area of galaxy on the Western Front in Helldivers 2. Located on galactic North-West from 
Super Earth, it consists of 3
colonized systems. Sector itself is named after a legendary beast from Greek mythology, known to possess multiple heads.
History
Second Galactic War
Hydra Sector would become victim of 
Automaton aggression shortly after "Reclamation Day" (April 9th, 2184), when massive Automaton attack captured entirety of Valdis Sector within hours. The advancing frontline reached Hydra, where after severe series of back and forth Automatons would capture entirety of sector by May of 2185, holding it firmly.
