The Automaton Defenses center is an Automaton tactical asset added in the Into the Unjust patch 6.0.1. This tactical asset controls all of the Automaton turrets and mortars in the map, and if disabled, all of these turrets and mortars will begin malfunctioning by spinning around aimlessly and randomly firing at their surroundings for the duration of the mission.

To compromise Automaton defenses, Helldivers must call in an SSD and complete a new hacking minigame on the terminal built into the structure.
