History

Second Galactic War

Operation Titanium Belt

Shallus had been, up until September 2184, a peaceful planet colony of Super Earth, being a hotbed for xenobiological research due to its mysterious ethereal jungles. However, the Automatons, envious of Super Earth's advancements towards Prosperity, would soon make a move to disturb that.

During the Reclamation, Gaellivare had cut all of its supply lines to the neighboring sectors, which helped safeguard the rest of the planets in the Talus sector from the Automaton offensives that would occur once they were stopped at the Menkent Line. However, where Gaellivare took proper caution to stockpile weapons and fortify itself, Shelt and Shallus, who were closer to the Sol System, did not, believing themselves to be detached from the frontline.

This notion would be completely shattered when, on September 6th, a then detached Automaton vanguard at Mastia sent an assault onto the underprepared Shelt, while the main Automaton force at Lesath decided to assault Gaellivare. Shelt would be successfully defended despite its lack of preparation....at the cost of losing Gaellivare.

The loss of Gaellivare immediately forced the Helldivers to concentrate on Imber, which would allow the Automatons to take over Vog-Sojoth in the meantime. Despite this loss, the Helldivers would succeed in defending Imber.

With the failure at Gaellivare, the now resupplied Automaton vanguard at Mastia grew bold in its processing and, on September 10th, sent a double assault onto Shelt and Shallus. Nevertheless, the Helldivers, in an astounding display of resilience and commitment, would manage to successfully defend Shelt and Shallus, proving once more how Freedom will always triumph over tyranny.
