	~ SOS Beacon Description

The SOS Beacon is a Mission Stratagem in Helldivers 2. It deploys a beacon that creates a wave around your mission icon on the Galactic Map.

This will create a ping on the planet map making your icon more noticeable for potential reinforcements. Deploying SOS Beacon places your lobby in a high priority position, however, it does not guarantee that others will join your team. Deployed SOS Beacon will allow players to join you even if your lobby is private.

It is limited to one use and can kill enemies or destroy buildings when it is deployed, but the SOS beacon itself is an invincible object, so it will continue to broadcast a priority distress call, until all 4 player slots are filled.

The beacon however, cannot be called-in during ion storms or near automaton jammer towers.
