Super Ten-Star General Brasch is, according to his own words, “Super Earth’s oldest and most grizzled war hero” - being a veteran of the First Galactic War and the oldest 
Helldiver currently in service.
General Brasch served as the instructor for the Helldiver Training Program on Mars and, after the 
Illuminate razing of the Mars facility, the Helldiver Training on Zegema Paradise; the “toughest test in the galaxy” where he guides new recruits - in voice if not in person - through the test that certifies them as ready for service as Helldivers. The Helldiver Training entails a rudimentary obstacle course, a live-fire crawling exercise, use of first-aid, a target practice range with live 
Terminids, Stratagem deployment, terminal usage, and most importantly, flag saluting. Each and every newly-minted Helldiver is (indirectly) presented with their first cape by the general.
The Super Ten-Star General is also the titular voice behind Brasch Tactics, a series of shorts created to encourage all Helldivers to think tactically while slaughtering the enemies of Managed Democracy. Additionally, following an error in Super Earth's logistics chain, Helldivers were accidentally granted the SH-32 Shield Generator Packs from General Brasch's personal stash, which were reserved for 10-star generals only; the workers at the distribution center have since been sent to re-education camps and regular shields have resumed distribution.

- General Brasch is occasionally humorously mentioned in patch notes by Arrowhead, such as in patch 1.001.100 where his Democratic values were reported to have increased by 1000%.
- On October 1st, General Brasch-issued Protection Order for pygmy hippos was implemented (the Moo Deng Accord).
- In Patch 01.001.104, General Brasch was said to return from a holiday retreat in a "foggy hillside town".
- As part of Patch 01.001.201 and in response to popular Helldiver demand, General Brasch has issued an administrative order to revert the production changes made to the SG-8P Punisher Plasma (from Patch 01.001.104)
- Thanks to the aforementioned Shield Generator mix up, we know that General Brasch's official rank is that of a 10-Star General. Notably, the only position higher than a Five-Star General in real-life is a country's Commander-in-Chief (i.e the President), implying that Super Earth either has massively inflated titles to make them sound more impressive or that Super Earth's military has way more authority than its actual government, both of which are equally possible.
- This was later changed to a Super Ten-Star General as Ten-Star General is an achievable rank.
